Not easy to find mid range accommodation in Barbados, this place was a treat. Very helpful and friendly staff,especially at front desk. Room was more modern and comfortable than expected. Good Wi-Fi, good shower, comfortable bed. Small pool area and seating at rear of property, nicely done. Very close to amenities and bars,restaurants. Short walk to choice of beach areas.

Pool was lovely and clean. Always loungers available. Room comfortable, clean, good size, kitchen facilities - all that was needed. Lots of outlets for phones, ereaders, tablets and by the bed 👍which was also comfortable. Staff always happy and helpful. Nice big tv. Small grocery store around the corner as were restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

The whole property was very clean, and the staff was kind and helpful. The room was exactly what we needed, a good size and the beds were comfortable. I appreciated that a few mugs and bowls were provided, which let us buy cereal and instant coffee from the store nearby. The pool was also very nice. The property is a short walk to Dover beach, which is good but not the best. It's also a short walk from the main road so you can easily catch a minibus to one of the other nearby beaches.

Great location, value for money stay and very friendly staff! Whenever I had questions they were very happy to help . Cheryl at the reception was amazing. Overall happy with our stay and can definitely recommend this hotel. It was very close to the Dover supermarket and the Dover beach and only a couple of mins walking to the restaurants . Our room was great, there was plenty of space and we had also a balcony with a table and 2 chairs.

The staff was exceptional. The reception desk provided great hospitality service. Davone is truly an asset to the inn. Interacted with Kelly Ann and one who did housekeeping in college she was very professional. The other ladies at the desk were all welcoming and pleasant. Would definitely refer my friends vacationing in Barbados to the inn.

The property was perfect. What you see in the pics is what you get and much more. Myself and my sister were extremely impressed with the comfort of the room, kitchen facilities within the room, high levels of cleanliness, excellent location. Furthermore, what really makes The Melbourne Inn a home from home is its staff who went above and beyond in helping both of us at all times, and did wonderfully with a reassuring smile , but also professionally. All the staff were brilliant and we still remember some of the names of the staff who attended to us. A big thank you to, Vicky, Louise, Beth, Devone, Jelisa, and Chanel (The Manager). The reception staff were very friendly and amazing, and so was the location. Would recommend for people looking for good value accomodation in a good location. Easily accessibility to various beaches (go visit them all - dover beach, turtle beach and maxwell beach) and local bars and restaurants. WiFi was reasonable, however I didn't have to take calls, so i'm not sure how that would have went; however, sufficient enough to stream.

The hotel was very clean the maid came everyday, the staff were very helpful, food was good the overall experience was great value for money. Close to St Laurence gap and walking distance to the beach. Alexia the waitress was great and the young man at the reception was also very helpful
